Responsive web design – new approach to design

In the last few years, a number of the mobile devices used for browsing the web significantly increased. It’s getting hard to keep up with endless new resolutions, from wide-screen desktop to tablet to small-screen mobile. To create a separate website for each of them can be very unrealistic and costly. Oraselul Copilariei
Oraselul copilariei is a children’s center for abandoned and unfortunate children. It was built in 2004 on the territory of the former Pioneer camp. Around 280 children, from a year and a half to seventeen years old, live there now. The center provides the children with comfortable rooms, nutritious meals, medical service and a good education.
ID Graphic World helped children center to create an online presence. A website was created to help educate interested parties about the project.

Why Shouldn’t you Have a Flash Website?

ELS Landscaping Online Campaign
ELS Landscaping invited ID Graphic World to help re-position the company online. A lot of planning went into the project to thoroughly evaluate their existing online campaign. We designed a new phased digital strategy that included complete website redesign and rebuild, integration with social media, email communication with customers and better campaign analytics.
New strategy points:
- We created more professional and clean looking materials, that set ELS Landscaping apart from other landscaping companies.
- Company employees were positioned as experts in their area ready to answer any questions the customer has through the “Ask the Expert” area on the web site or social media
- The site was designed using a content management system to make content update easy for any employee.
New digital materials meet the goals ELS set and positioned ELS Landsaping as a friendly but highly experienced, professional company, showed the warm but still professional approach to its clients. Since the site was launched, it has helped to significantly raise the company’s profile on the internet.

Rivoli Theatre
This website was created for the Rivoli, the last remaining single-screen movie theater in the county. Opened in 1930s, the Rivoli contributes to Cedarburg’s small-town character.
The redesign idea came to one of our designer after visiting the theater. When we decided to build the site we had few intentions for it:
- Refresh the look of the site to better reflect the historic character of the theater
- Make site simpler to use.
- Integrate with social media
- Make content easy to update for a person that cannot code.
The site was design to look like an old movie poster with upcoming movies on it and a street view behind it. Links to social sites were introduced to the site. We use WordPress to make the content easy to update for the client.
The site was also made far more search engine friendly, and soon this new version of the website was seeing far more hits than its predecessor.
